Lecturer in Horology

The School of Jewellery is the largest in Europe, based in the heart of Birmingham’s thriving Jewellery Quarter since 1890 the school has achieved the highest national and global reputation across its PhD, MA, BA, BSC and HND courses.

The successful applicant for this 0.8 role will primarily teach on our BA Hons Horology course, and /or across the school, as required. Your teaching activities will be further enhanced by your contribution to research, enterprise and scholarship

About you

We are seeking a dynamic individual, who is expected to be an accomplished practitioner with an extensive knowledge of, and professional/research experience within the Horology industry. Preferably with MBHI or WOSTEP qualifications and a strong servicing / restoration / repair background, you should have a passion for the subject and a desire to develop the same in others.
